GROWTH SPURS PROMOTIONS AT ROEMER INSURANCE.

September 12, 2007, Toledo, OH... Toledo-based Roemer Insurance, a family owned and operated insurance and risk-management firm, today announced the promotion of Michael Lawrence to Transportation Division Sales Manager. He will oversee the activities of all transportation sales account managers.

According to President and CEO, Rocky Roemer, recent growth has created the need for oversight of a young and energetic sales staff.  “Our goal is to expand the Roemer presence in markets that are underserved”, he stated. “Michael has done an excellent job in his position as manager of Roemer’s Insure My Rig division and this is the natural next step—for Michael and for Roemer Insurance,” he concluded.

Mr. Lawrence joined Roemer Insurance in 2001 as a sales representative and quickly rose to manager of Insure My Rig, Roemer’s small fleet division, which is dedicated to the trucking insurance needs of owner/operators and smaller trucking fleets.

Michael Lawrence was educated at Ohio State University and is a member of the Ohio Trucking Association Safety Council. Prior to his employment with Roemer Insurance he owned his own business specializing in book sales to organizations and corporations.
